“TLDR Isreal has cut off all water, electricity and telecommunications within Gaza in a complete blackout and Gaza has lost their voice. Israel has already threatened to bomb Al Shifa hospital, which is currently a shelter for around 50k-60k Palestinians. They are literally slaughtering and wiping out generations of Palestinians as we speak. Please I need to see y’all talking about this and being loud for Palestine. Your anime yaoi twink hyperfixation will still be here tomorrow but literally thousands of innocent people may not.”
The situation is messy, as war tends to be. We can at least be more informed, and help others to be more informed. That's what I'm doing.

Personally, I donated to MECA from the above post. I'm sure there's more that people can do and are doing. Knowing is a good start. Sharing is also great.
Peace and blessings to you,

While Art is like capturing a beautiful riff in a piece of music, Writing is like composing a grand symphony. I was in an art rut for years, and these stories/fanfics inspired me out of it. They create fantastic images in my head, and it's only a matter of time before I had to sketch them out. This is a tribute to the stories that expanded my world.
*** If you don't want RWBY Vol 3 Spoilers, better skip everything Pyrrha-related ***
My journey started here. I missed Pyrrha, and I've had enough of listening to speculations whether she'd return as a Grimm or half-Cinder etc. etc. So I browsed and found a fanfic. Which led to another. And a whole new world of Pyrrha opened. Now I'm glad she's out of canon, because the alternate stories that writers have come up with kicks canon ass.

THOUGHTS & MUSINGS
A friend had wondered about the enduring quality of Pyrrha who had relatively brief screentime. Perhaps it's a combination of her likeable character + untimely Fridging that left fans stunned.
This explains the Fridge:
"THIS is what I found the most unacceptable about Season 3: that RT has seemingly willingly, from the very beginning of development of RWBY, planned on not only killing off one of their main characters, but to do so in a way that rendered her in every conceivable way, shape and form, utterly WORTHLESS, and did it just for shock value."
And a perspective on fans wanting to do something about it:
Pyrrha looked away, ashamed, “What would you want with me? I’m no one special. I couldn’t even beat her.”
“I want to offer you a second chance,” Morgan said, wearing a proud smile. “I’m what you might call an observer. I can view the goings on of this world and others beyond it. I’ve seen your career as a tournament fighter and as a Huntress-in-training. I’m impressed, you have a good heart and such a capacity for good.
“No matter the world or reality, there are certain truths which remain constant, for good or ill. One such constant is that, given the opportunity, most with talent such as yours choose to enrich themselves; the specific form may vary by place and time, but at its core their choice remains the same: to serve themselves, their own desires and comfort and glory.
"You, however, are different," Morgan said. "You were given such opportunities on numerous occasions, yet each time you chose not the path of personal enrichment but that of sacrifice for the greater good. You did not take for yourself all that the world had to offer, you gave of yourself all that there was to be given. It is for this reason, I feel you deserve a second chance."
The ValkyrieStrength and Power, Beauty and Grace, Dainty Figures and Cute Outfits. Those are things people often assume come with the mantle of magical girl. Often said girls would save the day, battle monsters in bloodless conflicts, giving pretty speeches tied off with a bow to convert the evil villains into good guys, and that the life of others could be saved by the revolving door of magical girl sacrifice and rebirth.Given Valkyrie’s experience with the process she would tell people in Japan still writing the genre that way to go and fuck off. Strength needed muscle, and while magic helped with power it was still only a force multiplier. It wasn’t going to be any dainty magical girl catching a car falling off a cliff with magic. Likewise a pretty face might be a possible magical girl benefit, but in Valkyrie’s case it was the same face she was born with. Given anything to enhance her beauty would be contrasted by the body it wasn’t exactly high on her list to act like a makeup addict. As for dainty figures and cute outfits? Well in some way her outfit might be cute if it was on a dainty figure. Being on someone who considered herself built like a prime of his life Schwarzenegger, but 7 feet tall and with tits, it seemed to her it would disturb the average person. So no, as far as magical girls went Valkyrie would not come off as cute. That she was crammed into an honest to god armor bikini was something that boggled the mind enough to where it just was not worth wasting the brain cells trying to fathom the reasoning. Still… given a choice between it or death, the assumption still was that it had to beat death. From Valkyrie's view, that your death had only been prevented because the predecessor to the Valkyrie mantle sacrificed her life to save you. That she did this only after being largely (but accidentally) a contributor to half the bones of your body being crushed… Still it wasn’t like the predecessor couldn’t have left you to bleed out on dark streets in a back alley in some nowhere city. That realization often did leave a person feeling a little obligated to do the hero thing. Try to continue improving the world a little, repaying that debt by saving people and fighting the enemy. As enemies went, there was at least a black and white villain to oppose, but the pawns involved in the great game between the master Valkyrie served and those originating the Fenrir condition were in a place well above the view of the poor pawns. Usually said pawns had little choice in the matter. After all, it’s a bit awkward when both sides draw their powers from supposed gods and yet neither side has any true communication with their master beyond random flashes of insight or instinct from their mantles....
